Sol Azteca Kitchen in Mesa, AZ

Great place, food is fantastic! I never had a dish I did not like, just like mom's kitchen. My 'go to' place for pure Mexican dishes. Located on Baseline and Ellsworth. Stop by Sodalicious afterwards.

Los Taquitos in Chandler, AZ

My very first Mexican restaurant I visited when I moved to Phoenix and fell in love with the street tacos! The red or green sauce is so delicious on the carnitas tacos. A favorite of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Only reason it is #2 on my list is because I moved to East Mesa and can't get there too often.

Tacos Chiwas - 3 locations in Phoenix

Another great family-owned restaurant! My vote for best tacos in Phoenix! I love going to the Mesa location (which I think is the original home)... I recommend trying the Taco Chiwas tacos and the Calabacita.

New Mexican Grill in Gilbert, AZ

If you like hatch green chiles, you'll love this place! Burritos are awesome! I also love coming here for breakfast!
